DSP COURSE BLOG

                                 By Shriniket Vichare

In this blog, I will be sharing my experience of the course Digital Signal Processing. The blog consists of my experience of subject of Digital Signal Processing. This Subject had the pre-requisit of Signals and Systems Lab and signal processing lab as done in the Semester 5&6.The difference was that the codes that we implemented in  C language during Signals and Systems Lab , in signal processing lab we had to be implement on DSP boards. In this semester, we completed all the experiments on Matlab and Python.
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is concerned with the representation, transformation and manipulation of signals on a computer. This course introduces fundamental concepts, algorithms and applications of digital signal processing.  Starting from a description of how signals can be represented as digital waveforms and how systems may be modelled as digital filters, the course investigates the processing and analysis of signals using the most common approaches and algorithms.
Frequency sampling technique were also implemented. The DSP notebook which I maintained was enough to perform all the experiments. The theory in the notebook helped me form the filters in the practicals.

  1. The learning process sure has been well taken care of.
    Kudos to the faculty!
